• The Galicia chapter of CyberHub is presented today in A Coruña, with the support of the Centre for Industrial Cybersecurity (CCI). It will be oriented to the current challenges of cybersecurity in the region, in general, and to the challenges of operational environments and critical infrastructures, in particular.

 

Madrid, 13 may 2025.- Minsait Cyber, the Indra Group company specialising in cybersecurity, presents CyberHub in Galicia, a collaborative ecosystem designed to foster evolution and innovation in cybersecurity in different regions of Spain, which will adapt its activity to the main demands that organisations and the main entities or agents in the territory currently have in this field.

After its recent presentation in the Basque Country, the Galician chapter of this think tank starts today in A Coruña with the support of the Centre for Industrial Cybersecurity (CCI). During the meeting, organisations from all sectors of activity, mainly with operational environments (OT - Operation Technology) or critical infrastructures in the region and surrounding areas, and other stakeholders will come together to address current cybersecurity challenges in these areas. Regulatory compliance, cyber-resilience, risk management and the protection of the supply chain will be some of the issues to be addressed by participants at the event, ‘key issues in order to adequately protect the region's businesses and public administrations’, said Espina. Minsait Cyber has a team of more than 2,000 highly specialised professionals and a comprehensive offering that responds to any cybersecurity need an organisation may have. It also has a specific proposal for the OT field and important global references in this field.

 

CyberHub is a recurring meeting point for its members in each region, with the aim of identifying the most pressing cybersecurity challenges they face, and to provide a collaborative workspace to respond to these challenges, through research, design and joint development of innovative solutions or their continuous improvement.

 

The initiative will bring together entities and agents that contribute knowledge and value in the resolution of current and future cybersecurity challenges: public and private organisations, driving companies, technology centres, cybersecurity experts, manufacturers, start-ups and research groups in this field. The Indra Group company intends to continue extending this project to other regions of the country and will invite all local actors involved in the protection of cyberspace to join in order to strengthen the response to cyberthreats.
